VIDEO: Advancing circular solutions to plastic pollution in Brazil

In Brazil’s Salvador municipality Salvador, hotels, restaurants, city leaders and communities are working together to reduce single-use plastics through circular solutions supported by the Plastic Reboot Programme funded by the Global Environment Facility, co-led by UNEP and WWF.

By focusing on how products are designed, packaged and used in the food and beverage sector, Brazil is addressing plastic pollution at its source—protecting marine life, tourism, and coastal livelihoods.

This story shows how local action, national ambition and global partnership come together in practical ways to promote circular solutions that reduce pollution.
